Ahoy Joe, and thank ye fer yer comments. It should be lasting way more than 4 hours, good sir. While a bit of slight fading (generally around the mouth) might be noticeable after 4 hours, you should be able to get 8 hours or more. I generally wake up the next morning with 50% of color still there. Here are a few tips that may help it last longer: >> tamp down the color with a tissue. After applying, you way wish to just subtly rub/wipe with a tissue. This reduces the color intensity a bit and removes the topmost layer most likely to transfer. This also reduces the chance of rub-off. >> Dab with a tissue or napkin, After a meal, be careful not to wipe hard with your napkin. Dabbing helps ensure less product will be lost. Depending on how messy the meal is however, a quick touch-up may be required. >> Try not to play with or touch the mustache or beard, since the oils on your skin may cause the Blackbeard to fade or lose adhesion. Beware of any clothing that may come into contact as well, like a collared business shirt which can be very wearing indeed if you have 'neck beard.' >> If you notice certain areas wearing more heavily than others, just give it an extra coating of Blackbeard whenever is necessary. Hope this helps! -- Capn Jim
